ALL speakers are to deliver their PowerPoint presentations to the Speakers’ Preview Room

Notes for Speakers

Personal laptops are NOT ALLOWED at the podium.
PowerPoint presentations (Windows or Apple) on USB pens, memory sticks or personal laptops must be delivered to the Speakers’ Review Room as follows:
Power Point with slideshow in landscape (horizontal) 16:9 (presentation of the screen).

Presenters with PowerPoint presentations on USB pen
Report to the Speakers’ Preview Room at least ONE HOUR before the session or the day before, in case of early morning presentations.

Presenters with presentations on personal laptop and/or using Mac/Apple
Report to the Speakers’ Preview Room at least TWO HOURS before the session or the day before, in case of early morning presentations in order to convent the file into Windows format and/or download the presentation onto the main system.

Presenters with video presentations
MP4 video extension (codec H264) format with the name of the presenting author be delivered to the Speakers’ Preview Room at least TWO HOURS before the session or the day before, in case of early morning presentations.
The indicated timings allow smooth uploading of all presentations to the central computerized network and swift transmissions to the assigned meeting rooms. Staff members at the Speakers’ Preview Room are also available to help those speakers wishing to rehearse their presentations.
SPEAKERS’ PREVIEW ROOM
LANGUAGE
The official language of the SOA 48th ASM is English. There will be no interpretations rendered.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available for meeting participants throughout the convention area. Please check network and password at the Registration Desk.
Certificate of Attendance and CME Points Award
E-certificate of attendance will be issued to all registered delegates upon request.
A maximum of 12 CME Points will be accredited for the SOA 48th ASM.
LIABILITY
The SOA 48th ASM Organising Committee and the Meeting Secretariat are not liable for personal accidents, loss or damage to private properties of the registered participants during the meeting. Participants should make their own arrangements with regards to personal insurance.
